This was a progress shot… TWO years ago!
That we are building at our community in the sacred land by the mountains in Colombia.
Every stone, every piece of wood and bamboo have been placed with the utmost respect, love and attention.
When we started the construction process, for months on end we kept the central fire on.
For the fire is the heart of the temple, and before anything can be created, the heart has to be strong.
So whether it rained, or it was late in the evening, we’d ensure to come and check that the coals were ON. 🔥
To build this temple, we used as columns the very same trees we had to remove to make space for it.
We held a prayer and ceremony asking the land for its permission and every tree for its support in offering itself towards a higher purpose.
The pine leaves and branches were chopped down in small bunches by the women of the community and stored for smudging (they smell very good and cleanse spaces).
So throughout the construction process, there was always a fire, smudging and cleansing of the spaces happening. 🙏🏽
We would also sit in sacred ceremony once every two weeks, to ensure that we were all as energetically clean as possible to work on building the temple.
This has not been easy, for we’ve had to fire a lot of people that couldn’t hold the standard of impeccability and attention that this construction demands.
But a few committed hands and resilient hearts have been working tirelessly to ensure that this temple carries within it the frequencies and intentions that were placed from its very birth.
