🌊The Power of Water 🌊

It is recommended before and after an Ayahuasca ceremony to take a dip in a natural, non-contaminated stream of water (ideally a river or waterfall)

The reason for this is that your body and aura gather a lot of information throughout the day.

This is particularly true if you happen to live in the city or work in crowded areas.

Just think of how sometimes after you go to a busy city center, your whole mood changes even when you get home…

This is because there’s certain energetic exchange that is always happening between us and our environment.

Cold showers are often a good reset for the same reason (although the volume is often not good enough for a proper cleansing)

It is because of this that bathing in a river/natural waterfall is important before and after a ceremony:

Water acts as a conductor and solvent for these subtler parts of our energy body.

In simpler words, your body, energies and thoughts are 100% an expression of what is within you and not influenced by what you may have gathered from your environment.

Making the healing process a lot cleaner, simpler and direct.

This is another reason why it is often not recommended to drink medicine at someone’s house (especially if it’s not in nature and with access to a clean river)

Because if the group is very big and the ceremony was very dense and heavy, you may end up gathering stuff that was not yours and feeling strange within.

This is why the fire and the water are key elements of the healing process.

They act as cleansing tools to ensure that your energy, body and mind are purified before and after.

At our community, we take daily showers with crystalline waters coming straight from the mountain where the land is situated.

Meaning there’s zero chemicals, zero human involvement and contamination and total purity.

Just doing this alone has a tangible, positive impact on a person’s body.

Combine it with plant medicine and the results multiply.

PS: As a daily practice and for cleansing, it’s good to dump a bucket of cold water over your head (always start from the crown) when you start and finish your day.

No need to have a tortuous ice bath, the bucket will do!
